ABOUT

I am particularly interested in the ways people develop characteristic patterns of experiencing themselves, relating to others, and engaging with the world. These patterns often begin as creative adaptations to difficult circumstances, yet later become sources of conflict, loneliness, or suffering. Much of psychotherapy involves understanding these patterns and discovering new possibilities for living and relating.

My style is genuine and direct, with equal attention to feelings, thoughts, relationships, and choices. I believe meaningful change emerges through careful attention to experience, curiosity about recurring patterns, and the freedom that comes from understanding ourselves more fully.

Outside of psychotherapy, I have longstanding interests in philosophy, theology, nature, and music. These interests reflect a broader curiosity about what it means to be human and continually remind me that human experience is richer and more complex than any single theory can capture. I am drawn to wild places and interested in the ways landscapes shape our sense of place and belonging. Music has long been an important part of my life, both as a listener and as a musician.
