ABOUT

Along with my training as a psychotherapist, my work is informed by my academic training in philosophy and theology and my interests in nature and music.

I tend to think of the struggles we experience in life as issues that, though unique in our individual experience, are part of the human condition and that there is an element of what could be called spiritual depth to the work of being alive and seeking meaning. â€‹

As someone who has spent a good deal of time in the outdoors, I think of my work as a psychotherapist as being observant of natural processes in finding, following and forging paths through our wild places. As someone who has spent a good deal of time playing and writing music, I think of my work as a psychotherapist as listening deeply to the melodies, harmonies and rhythms that make up the sound of our inner lives.
